Ed Minnock worked for eight companies, including six technology companies, three of which were rough-and-tumble startups. At startups, Ed learned how to assemble and lead teams that drive product development and manufacturing success.
​
When Ed joined Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 1992, he applied what he had learned to turn around HP’s scanner and digital camera businesses. The scanner business won the President’s Quality Award for HP’s most outstanding business. The digital camera business became HP’s fastest growing business. Ed was then promoted to vice president and general manager, responsible for the scanner and digital camera businesses with a combined revenue of $900 million.

After leaving HP, Ed worked for a consulting firm that taught companies how to use structured problem-solving to resolve their most difficult problems. His clients included: Intel (U.S., Israel, Malaysia), Texas Instruments, Bombardier Aerospace (Canada), Kongsberg Automotive (Sweden and Norway), Fisher and Paykel (New Zealand), and Sara Lee (Indonesia, Malaysia), among others.

Ed then taught Business Ethics at Colorado State University’s (CSU) College of Business. He is a guest lecturer at CSU’s College of Business and College of Engineering.

Ed earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research / Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
